  • Advice and representation for Live Nation (Music) UK Ltd for new premises licence applications for the following live music festivals and concerts:
    • Earlham Park Norwich 2017;

    •  Wireless Festival (Finsbury Park 2014);
    • Calling Festivals (Clapham Common 2014 and 2015); Creamfields (2014);

    • Kasabian Concert, Leicester (2013)
  • Advised and represented SEL (UK) Ltd and The Evening Standard for a new premises licence application for the London Food Month Night Market, Perks Field, Kensington Gardens, 2017
  • Advised and represented private company for premises licence applications for The Patron’s Lunch 2016 for Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations on The Mall, London
  • Acted for Festival Republic in 2016 for their successful defence against a High Court Judicial Review action brought by a local residents group who were opposed to the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park
  • Advised and represented Academy Music Group Ltd for various applications relating to their national live music venues, including transfer applications following their acquisition of MAMA Group in 2015
  • Advised and represented Eleven Arches, Bishop Auckland for their successful application for a premises licence to perform historical enactment shows (based on ‘Puy du Fou’) in the grounds of Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland in 2015
  • Advice and representation for a prominent nightclub in Vauxhall for a new premises licence for a ‘Food Garden’ attached to their club and for a variation of their club licence and associated applications
  • Advised and represented a private client in relation to breach of Abatement Notice proceedings relating to a clay pigeon shooting site in Oxfordshire and advised on breach of planning issues
  • Advised and represented a private client for an appeal against an Abatement Notice for a motocross site in Surrey and an application for planning permission for a bund wall around the site, including successfully opposing a third party Judicial Review appeal.
  • Represented local residents in their successful opposition to a new premises licence application for an outdoor marquee in grounds adjoining their residential properties in Tunbridge Wells
  • Acted for HP Hotels Ltd for their premises licence application for a new Holiday Inn Hotel in Huntingdon 2013
  • Acted for a property management company for the Transfer of a premises licence for a repossessed nightclub in Southampton 2017
  • Acting for Welcome Break Ltd in relation to a number of new and variation of Adult Gaming Centre premises licence applications for their motorway services and various operating licence compliance issues following amendments to the LCCP.
  • Representing a new online gaming company for their application for a Gambling Software Operating Licence to the Gambling Commission and subsequent variation to upgrade the licence
  • Acting for a new Bingo company to obtain a new Operating Licence and Bingo Premises Licences for their premises in Farnborough and Newcastle.
  • Advised clients on the ‘skill competition’ exemption and compliance provisions under the Gambling Act 2005 for the launch of their new fantasy sports website 2016.
